Tiger Woods, the world's greatest golfer, will tee up for the JBWere Masters to be broadcast on Nine's Wide World of Sports from Melbourne's Kingston Heath from November 12 to 15.
Woods, the world number one, is the superstar attraction in the elite field which also includes Geoff Ogilvy, the 2006 US Open winner.
Ogilvy heads the strong lineup of Australians who face the daunting challenge of stopping Woods from claiming yet another tournament. They include Stuart Appleby, Aaron Baddeley, Adam Scott, Nathan Green, Richard Green, Mathew Goggin, Marc Leishman, Craig Parry, Michael Sim, John Senden, and defending Masters champion, Rod Pampling.
The field will be finalised once entries close for the European Tour on November 4.
Nine's Wide World of Sports will broadcast from Kingston Heath Golf Course for the four days of the Masters. The coverage will be hosted by Eddie McGuire. Joining him exclusively on camera will be two of the world's leading golf commentators, Ian Baker-Finch and Jack Newton. Sitting alongside them in the commentary box will be Mark Nicholas, Brett Ogle and Warren Smith.
Out on the course and in the clubhouse, Lucas Parsons and Ian Healy will bring viewers all the big name interviews on each day's play. Meanwhile Nathan Thompson will be roving around Kingston Heath to capture the colour and excitement of the Masters. The presence of Tiger Woods has made it the most keenly anticipated tournament ever staged in Australia.
Nine's Wide World of Sports coverage of the Masters begins with the first round at 12.30pm on Thursday, November 12. The Today show will also broadcast live from Kingston Heath on the opening day and day two, featuring live interviews and play.
